How to Hear Yah's Voice
Many people today claim to hear the voice of Yah (or God) and believe those words are truly from The Most High. This blog provides direction on how to hear the voice yourself and have discernment on if these are true words of Yah.
AL'NURYAH WORDS FROM YAH

In early 2023, I went to my husband with an urgent message that we needed to move to Namibia by spring of the next year. He asked me where that urgency came from, and I had no idea. I just knew.
He continued to receive his own confirmations of this and eventually began to feel that my calling was truly from The Most High, but he still hadn't had any direct messaging for himself.
As I progressed in my relationship with The Most High, I eventually learned from mentors I followed that it was important not only to pray but to stop talking and expect an answer. This seemed strange to me as I had never expected The Most High to actually speak in any form of voice. I thought the voice of Yahuah required a burning fire on a mountaintop or some dramatic effect that would send me to my knees.
I had heard people in TikTok and YouTube videos claiming that "God Said" or saying they received "A Word From The Most High," and I just assumed perhaps they were special prophets of our time sent to guide us through the awakening.
I had started keeping a journal next to the bed to record dreams since one of the channels I followed on YouTube said that dreams can have meanings and we should train ourselves to record and remember them in case Yah was sending us a dream for a particular reason. We were told to take them to the Father in prayer, which again was confusing to me as I didn't understand how I could receive an answer at all.
One particular night, I decided to try this new technique of sitting quietly (not thinking) and waiting for an answer after my prayers. I asked for clarity on several things that had been on my mind with regard to the goals put on my heart. I sat for around 20 minutes before beginning to "hear" my answers.
They came in bullet points. Five bullet points came to my mind with explicit responses to my thoughts. The bullet points clarified more about why I was heading to Namibia and what our connection was to the other family that we met, who had also been sent to the same place by The Most High.
I felt uncomfortable with what I had written and couldn't understand where it came from. Since I believed that Yah's voice didn't sound like my own, I rejected it and put the notebook away.
It was about a month later when I reopened the book after a conversation led me to see that one of the items was coming to pass. I was not a false prophet after all, but one receiving the true voice of The Creator. I was astonished to confirm that Yah can speak to us in what I describe as telepathic communication in our minds. Yes, the bible describes many special instances of burning bushes and sounds like rushing water, but most communication is as simple as a voice inside that guides us.
After confirming this was real, I continued writing brief words from Yah.
In early 2024, I entered a float tank and invited The Creator to join me. A float tank is a dark, quiet space inside a tub of mineralized salt water that allows you to float on your back without the outside world's distractions. I was given a free ticket to visit this tank, and since it was the only time as a mom of two that I would have quiet space during the day, I chose to use it as a prayer opportunity.
Outside the tank, I stood on my feet, hands raised in praise, and called in my father, Yahuah, to enter.
Abba Yahuah, creator of the heavens and the earth, and Elohim of my fathers Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Adam. I thank you for allowing me the opportunity to awaken in this time and seek your face in truth. I thank you for your calling to take a leap of faith to join you in Africa as you have called me to do your work on the continent. I thank you for an equally yoked partner who faithfully joins me in this call to live a life of purpose for you. I call your presence to join me here in this float tank to share with me anything you would have me understand before we begin this journey that starts in just a couple of months. I will clear my own mind of thoughts and know that anything I hear or visualize in this moment is only from you.
I then entered the tank and was shown a full hour of visual scenes from my future life, demonstrating what our work would be and how our life would look. I was also provided a scene showing my husband staying three nights in a hotel to fast, so he could also begin hearing the voice of Yah. He was to put his phone in the safe and we would communicate using the hotel phone just to say hello to the kids. I understood that we were not to make any more decisions or move forward until he had done this, and it was to be done as soon as his job was ended.
After this float tank experience I told my husband all that I had seen in an email to timestamp and date it. I told him I expected him to please do what I was told as soon as his last day of work was done. He felt it was inconvenient, so he pushed it out a week until I finally demanded I will do nothing else to progress our move until he did it. Apparently, he just didn't understand that I had heard this command from The Most High, and he thought it was just some idea I concocted in my solitude. I made it clear I believed there are consequences for not doing as commanded and he finally went ahead with the plan not really wanting to at all.
On the first morning, Benhaya called me on his CELL PHONE. I said, "Are you on your cell phone?" and he expressed frustration at me for mentioning it. He didn't know how to use the room phone and thought that was a little overkill. Suddenly, his phone stopped working. It was in complete working order and fully charged, but it just shut off and couldn't turn on again until after he came home.
It took him most of the fasting trip to finally hear Yah's voice. He had grown impatient and cried out to Abba, asking him why he was sent there. Abba obliged by sending him a strong urge to pick up his notebook and begin to write. In this first instance, he wrote four pages of response from The Most High.
He called us with his praise report and read me the words on the pages. They were extraordinary to receive and also taught me something about my own experiences. His four pages demonstrated that my messages were likely being cut short, so after this I began to wait longer to listen and found that I was indeed cutting Abba short as I had not understood how much there was to be said. I needed to give more quiet space and stop trying to run off to work or get to sleep.
Since then, we have become tasked with sitting at the Father's feet daily to seek his direction and prophetic words. It flows naturally and we are clear now when it's from him and when it's our own thoughts, which took practice.
We tested our words by knowing they were biblically based, and for some, we could see if they came to fruition and then knew they were true. We also have access to a fellowship where people sometimes share words they receive, which often mirror words we have in our notebooks.
I have also experienced writing a word and then seeing one of my favorite Hebrew YouTubers bring up the exact topic that was in my word, almost as confirmation that he's saying similar messages to others at the same time.
I hope this testimony helps you as you begin to seek the voice of Abba and to understand how to grow in hearing his words.
